WHAT IS EBSA 2025?

The European Biophysical Societies' Association (EBSA) was formed in 1984 as a non-profit organization with the objectives of advancing and disseminating knowledge of the principles, recent developments, and applications of biophysics.

Additionally, it aims to foster the exchange of scientific and technological information among European biophysicists and the global biophysics community.

The purpose of EBSA is to promote biophysics in Europe.

It comprises the Biophysical Societies within the European region and is governed by an Executive Committee.

EBSA organizes the European Biophysics Congress biennially.

The upcoming Congress is scheduled to take place at Univeristy La Sapienza in Rome, Italy (30 June - 4 July, 2025).

HOW TO CONFIRM YOUR SPONSORSHIP

There are two different types of logo required:

  • vector graphic (.eps or .ai format) in 4 colors (4c) for print purposes

  • jpg, png image for digital use

Sponsorships items will be reserved upon receipt of full payment on a first-come, first-served basis.

​IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR EXHIBITORS

  • Shell scheme booths are not allowed. Only tables and chairs will be provided. 

  • The organizers reserve the right to assign exhibiting spaces based on the safety and health rules of the University La Sapienza.

  • Instructions about shipments to the Conference venue will be sent in due time.

PAYMENT - INVOICE - CANCELLATION POLICY

Prices do not include ITALIAN VAT (22%).

Only Italian Companies are VAT taxable therefore 22% VAT will be added on their final invoice.

​​Sponsorship confirmation form properly executed by the applicant, shall constitute a valid and binding contract.

​

  • 100% payment due upon receipt of the invoice

  • Invoice will be sent as soon as the sponsorship confirmation is received

  • IMPORTANT: let us know in advance if we are supposed to receive a Purchase Order or a Vendor Form to be filled, before issuing our invoice. 

​​

​Cancellation requests received prior to  March 1, 2025, will be refunded, less € 500 processing fees, within 30 days of the request.

Due to organizers' advance financial commitments, refunds requested after March 1, 2025,, cannot be guaranteed.

Consideration of cancellation requests for refunds received after March 1, 2025,, will be processed after the conference.

The EBSA 2025 Organizing Committees retains the exclusive right to approve sponsorship applications and sponsored items (advertisements, bags, lanyards, etc...) 

 

The EBSA 2025 Organizing Secretariat will not be liable for damage or loss to a sponsor’s or exhibitors’ properties through fire, theft, accident, or any other cause while at the Conference venue whether the result of negligence or otherwise.

 

Sponsorship is not limited to financial support, but can also take the form of provision of services. ads, publicity, etc.
